Ectropion
Ectropion is a defect of conformational in which there is a sagging or rolling out (oversion) of the eyelids.
This results in abnormal exposure of the eye, which often leads to irritation.
Because of increased exposure of the eye, dogs with ectropion are prone to develop allergic or bacterial conjuctivitis - inflammation of the thin membrane which covers the periphery of the surface of the eye and lines the eyelids
Here, the lower eye lid can be seen pulling away from the shape of the eye.
